But put on as your Armor the Lord Jesus Christ and put a stop to gratifying the cravings, passions and evil desires that lurk in your lower nature, the flesh. (Rms.13: 14).

Stand Firm In Your Faith God Can’t Lie!

The Effective Soul Winner knows to be strong in the Lord empowered through your union with Him; drawing your strength from Him, the strength, which His boundless might, provides. (Eph.6: 10). Activating the Whole Armour of God is essential to repel all Satan’s attempts to have you take your hand off the plough for evangelism. (Lk.9: 62). Let us then drop the works of darkness and put on the full Armour of Light, ready and armed for the fight of faith today! (Rms.13: 13; Mth.6: 34; Eph.6: 13).

He will always suggest alternatives; lie straight to your mind against the Truth; in an attempt to have you doubt God and lose your ground gained in the Spirit of Faith for winning souls. Don’t Take Unforgiveness And Strife Into The New Year!

The Effective Soul Winner knows to settle disputes God’s way! Harboring the Spirit of Vengeance is sin (Lk.9: 55,56; 1Jhn.3: 14,15). “Again if your brother wrongs you, go and have it out with him in private. If he listens to you, be sure that when he/she brings a sinner back from his evil course, it will save the man’s soul from death. (Mth.18: 15-19; Jms.5: 20). But if he refuses to listen, call in one or two other believers, that every word may be confirmed and witnessed. If he pays no attention to these, report the matter to the church but if he pays no attention even to the church you can then treat him as you would a pagan or publican. (Mth.18: 16,17). “Vengeance is mine, I will recompense,” saith the Lord. “And again, I shall judge my people.” It is a fearful, formidable and terrible thing to incur the Divine penalties and be cast into the hands of the Living God!(Heb.10: 30,31).

On the other hand whenever there’s been a resurgence of Christ’s Spirit in revival and harvesting it’s been accompanied with emblazoned prayer for the lost and the unmistakable demonstrative fiery passion for soul winning.

They have no knowledge that after their death there will be a judgment before Almighty God and in His court they’ll give an account for every deed done and every idle word spoken throughout their lifetime. God’s will it is that all men should find Salvation and come to realize the truth.” (1Tim.2: 4). Men aren’t forced to the knowledge of the Gospel message of Salvation, but they have to hear it to be positioned for Salvation. (Rms.1: 16).

Will you join your faith in prayer with other believers, to put a stop to Satan’s macabre slaughter this year in Jesus’ Name? (1Pet.5: 9).

Then Shall You Delight Yourself In The Lord!

Fashioned after the tendency of this present age, governed by their sensual depraved natures flirting with death and the grave unaware of the wrath of God to come. (Jhn.3: 36; Eph.2: 1,2). Will you pray for them?

Your prayer; for all men to be saved in Jesus’ Name, is in perfect agreement with God’s plan. (1Tim.2: 4; Jhn.3: 16). And since you positively know that He listens to you in whatever you ask, you also know with settled and absolute knowledge that you have granted to you as your present possessions the requests made of Him. (1Jhn.5: 14, 15). “Be not afraid of their faces, for I am with you to deliver you,” says the Lord. Then the Lord put forth His hand and filled my mouth with His Word.” (Jer.1: 8,9,12).

Prayer Is The Key!

The Effective Soul Winner knows the earnest, heartfelt, continued prayer of a righteous man/woman makes tremendous power available, dynamic in it’s working for the Salvation of Souls. (Jam.5: 16). Jesus, Who is our Savior, would that all men be saved. Therefore to meet the Will of God for others who aren’t yet saved, we who believe must pray for their Salvation. You want to see more Souls saved? Prayer - ferverent, heatfelt, faith filled prayers in total agreement with the Will of God, “I would that all men be saved” is your answer. In fact more souls would be saved if believers prayed more for the lost. (Psm.2: 8; 1Jhn.5: 14,15). Sad to say, most don’t pray at all!

Prayer Is The Key!

Know The Truth And It Will Make You Free!

The Effective Soul Winner knows that God longs for all men to be saved by being led to recognize the Divine Truth. (1Tim.2: 4; Jhn.12: 32). How can men come to acknowledge their need of Salvation, if they’ve not so much as heard the Truth? (Jhn.17: 17).
The Gospel message? (Rms.10: 14).

Men’s hearsay of the Gospel message is not the Truth. That’s why men ignorantly use Jesus’ Name as a curse word. No … the Soul Winner’s responsibility is to get the knowledge of the Truth of Salvation spread near and far as knowledge of the Truth is the only way they can be saved. (1Jhn.2: 2; Titus 2:11).

Know The Truth And It Will Make You Free! (Jhn.8: 32).

Rejoice In The Lord Always

The Effective Soul Winner knows it’s never a question of whether God is for you but rather: Are you for God? (Jos.5: 13-15). Godly vision isn’t birthed nor increased or expanded because you think you deserve it.

It’s an established Biblical fact, without paying the price for vision, through your submission and obedience to the Word and Spirit of God, it will never be realized. (Lk.4: 1-21). Trials of fire await your faith for vision. (1Cor.3: 13; Jms.1: 2-4; 1Pet.4: 12,13).

Press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. (Phil.3: 14).

Rejoice In The Lord Always!

Go Forward In Faith!

The Effective Soul Winner knows no earthly thing stays the same forever, changes come, decisions have to be made, responsibility taken and costs paid (2Cor.4: 18). God wants you to know beyond doubt that your current changing season isn’t going to be the end of your world view as you know it, but a herald, proclaiming brilliant new opportunities in God just ahead. Where’s God in your current situation? He’s ahead of you … preparing the banqueting table for you, even in the midst of all your enemies! (Psm.23).

Where your treasure is, there will your heart be also. Keep your loins girded and your lamp burning.”(Lk.12: 32,34,35).

This demonstrates your respect for God, in fact the degree to which you respect and honor people reflects your true heart condition before God. “Don’t be wise in your own estimation, never return to any man evil for evil but aim to do what is honorable in the eyes of all. As far as it depends on you, be at peace with everyone. (Rms.12: 16-18). Pray for your Leaders! (Eph.6: 19).

Obedience Is Better Than Sacrifice!

The Effective Soul Winner knows the Lord of the Harvest ordains Sovereign appointments and through them spreads the fame of His Power and Mercy throughout vast regions. (Jhn.4: 6-42; Acts 8:26,29; 9:11).

Catalytic Evangelism spreads by word of mouth like wild fire … did you hear what happened? Somebody prayed in the Name of Jesus. “He who puts his faith in Me, can himself do the things that I am doing and he will do even greater things than these because I am going to My Father.”(Jhn.14: 12).

They experience the alienation, the deep loneliness; they sense there should be more to life, yet they feel isolated and futile. They yearn for unconditional love but they are without hope of it and without a Savior in their world. (Eph.2: 12)

There’s no need ever to feel ashamed of the Gospel of Jesus Christ (Rms.1: 16), though you may be rebuffed. Press the claims of Christ to this lost and despairing people. They will all reflect after in different ways and some will be saved then and there!

The Effective Soul Winner knows the Christmas period is a great time for sowing the Gospel message.

People are so stretched emotionally asking various unanswered questions of themselves. A subconscious revaluation!

People are looking for substantiated hope.

Most have merely existed or just survived the year and are really looking for hope, a new plan, with encouragement, and an assurance that won’t lead them to shame. (Eph.2: 12; Rms.5: 5).

Joy to the World, the Lord is come to give eternal hope that won’t diminish or fail to those who believe. (Jhn.3: 16).

Do The Work Of An Evangelist! (2Tim. 4:5).

Blind to the glorious light of the Gospel of Christ

The Effective Soul Winner knows that Demons’ only interest in humans is to control them and keep them blind to the glorious light of the Gospel of Christ. (2Cor.4: 3,4).

They systematically distort their victim’s sense of right and wrong weakening their will. (1Tim.4: 1). Demons undermine good health through various infirmities (Job 2:7; Mth.8: 17). and oppress the victim’s spirit, imprisoning it. (Lk.4: 18; 1Jhn.3: 8; Acts 10:38; Acts 16:10).

The most ingenious ploy though to control humans is finance. The Demon of Mammon enslaves mankind through the Love of Money (1Tim.6: 10; Mk.6: 24). Every level of power, illicit sex and glory is entered through finance.

People sell their souls to get it and are prepared to kill to keep it regardless of how much or little they have of it.

“But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience and meekness.” (1Tim.6: 11).

Narrow Is The Way! (Mth.7: 14).

In Quietness and Confidence

The Effective Soul Winner knows an idle mind is not a sound mind (Rms.8: 15; 2Tim.1: 7).

Learn not to allow your mind to be idle, lazy, ineffective and powerless. Rather; build a sound mind, free from fear, damage, injury and decay; solid and substantiated on the Word of God. (Prov.19: 15; Rms.8: 15).

Study and be eager, doing your utmost to present yourself to God approved, tested by trial, a workman who has no cause to be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of Truth. (2Tim.2: 15).

In Quietness and Confidence Is Your Strength! (Isa.30: 15).

Put on the New Man

The Effective Soul Winner knows the hardest challenge when you’re down is to see yourself as God sees you. Put on the New Man, the Apostle exhorts in Colossians 3:10

“Fear not, you are more than a conqueror, a new creation in Christ, old things have passed away, all things have become new, as you have been made the righteousness of God through Jesus Christ.”

(Rms.8: 37; 2Cor.5: 17,21).

You could really resent this concept when under pressure, the sense of inadequacy raging, but continuing with that attitude won’t bring the change you need (Jms.1: 20). Listen: I am well pleased and take pleasure in infirmities, insults, hardships, persecutions, perplexities and distresses; for when I am weak in human strength, then am I truly strong, because my Covenant Partner Jesus, makes me able and powerful in divine strength to overcome. (2Cor.12: 10).

Don’t Be Your Own Worst Enemy! Your Choice …!

See yourself as God sees you.

The Effective Soul Winner knows to see himself/herself as God sees him/her. Therefore put on the New Man; made righteous in Christ and be a confident Ambassador of the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. (Rev.19: 11-16).

Your name’s in the Lamb’s Book of Life and your citizenship in Heaven is definitely eternal (Rev.21: 27; Phil.3: 20).

Thanks be to God, Who in Christ always leads us in triumph and through us speaks and makes evident the knowledge of God everywhere (2.Cor.2: 14).

Stop Thinking Yourself Into Defeat!

Exercising Faith In Righteousness

The Effective Soul Winner becomes skilful in exercising their Faith in righteousness as opposed to being unskillful in righteousness. That is; of conformity to the Divine Will in purpose, thought and action. (Heb.5: 13).

The righteousness of God comes by believing with a personal trust and confident reliance on Jesus Christ. And it is meant for all who believe. For there is no distinction, as all have sinned, and come short of the Glory of God. All are justified and made upright and in right standing with God (righteous) freely and gratuitously by His Grace, His unmerited favor and mercy through redemption by Christ Jesus. (Rms.3: 22-24).

For He hath made Him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him. (2.Cor.5: 21).

Be Bold … You Have Right Standing With God!

A powerhouse of faith to set the captives free

The Effective Soul Winner has taken the time to study, meditate and absorb Christ’s Evangelistic Message of Love and Power. (Mth.28: 18-20). Has made himself/herself available to the Holy Spirit to pour out the Love of God for the lost through deep intercessory prayer. (Rms.5: 5: Rms.8: 26-30; Ezk.22: 30,31). Until the Power of the Cross is not just a religious thought you give mental assent to; not just an emotional gush or spine jerk that produces goose bumps in a Worship Service. But through a practical, experiential outworking of the Love of God, which surpasses mere knowledge without experience, becomes a powerhouse of Faith to set the captives free from Satan’s dominion. (Eph.3: 14-21).

Beyond Your Wildest Dreams He Intends To Lead! (Eph.3: 20).

Preach in season and out of season

The Effective Soul Winner knows to preach the Word of Christ’s Salvation, in season and out of season. Press it home for your hearers on all occasions, convenient or not convenient, welcome or unwelcome.

Never lose your sense of urgency. (2Tim.4: 2).

“For I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ: For it is the Power of God unto Salvation to every one that believes.”

(Rms.1: 16).

And how are they to hear His Words unless someone proclaims Him. (Rms.10: 14d). Both prayer and witnessing are essential. The lost can only be saved through faith in Christ and that faith only comes when they hear the Gospel.

The Prayers Of The Righteous Have A Powerful Effect! (Jm.5: 16; 2Cor.5: 21; Eph.6: 18,19).

Nothing you do for the Lord is insignificant: it is a seed

The Effective Soul Winner knows that everything great started small. (Zec.4: 10). Nothing you do for the Lord is insignificant: it is a seed, a powerful seed of obedient thought, word or deed. (1Cor.15: 58).

Annanias had no idea what the Lord intended fully to do with Saul of Tarsus but he obeyed the Lord. A child gave a word to Saint Augustine; “Take up and read!” which led him to greatness for God.

John Wesley listened to an anonymous missionary reading Luther; “The just shall live by faith.” He became a mighty Theologian and Evangelist.

D.L.Moody listened to the challenge of Christ for his soul from a Sunday school teacher, whilst he worked. Moody became a great Evangelist to America and Britain. Spurgeon the Prince of Preachers had his humble start when he heard a workman reading Scripture of Jesus Christ whilst caught in a snowstorm.

Billy Sunday another amazing Evangelist, was converted listening to a street Preacher. To be a laborer in the service of the Lord of the Harvest is the most awe inspiring honor you could have and who knows what you’re obedience can birth for Christ in the hearts of men and women you minister to.

God Is Attentive To Your Prayer! (1Pet.3: 12).

You Can Do All Things Through Christ

The Effective Soul Winner knows the Grace of the Lord Jesus Christ is given to you to enable you to be the capable person God has ordained you to be and to empower you to fulfill His purpose for you. (Phil.1: 6; Philemon 6; 2Pet.1: 2-4).

God’s ready for harvesting souls throughout the New Year in your area. Will you be ready and available?

Pray now for Souls to be freed from Satan’s grip and to be receptive to Christ’s Gospel Message. Then Preach the Gospel, The Lord is with you! (2Tim.4: 17; Mk.16: 20; Heb.13: 5).

Breakthrough begins within your own heart

“As a person sees themselves so are they!”(Prov.23: 7). Whose report will you believe?

What thoughts do you meditate and rehearse over and over? (1Sam.17: 32-37). Deciding what thoughts you’ll allow to dominate your thinking will be the greatest decision you’ll make. To either break free from your present limitations or spend another period bound in limbo. (Lk.4: 18). It’s up to you!

The Word of God declares: Be transformed; to change from one state into something different by the renewing, the renovation of; your mind (Rms.12: 2). Renew your mind to: My God is able and go forward into the New Year!
